Stitching Update

And Nature's Little Helper continues to slog along at it's snail's pace.

3/4 done with the current page.  I'm beginning to wonder if I'm going to hit my finish goal of end of July now.  I'm planning on getting lots of stitching done today and tomorrow.  Then I have a three day weekend next week and want to get something done stitching/knitting wise (I'm looking at you, sock!).

Being the last Wednesday of the month, it's time for the monthly Sanctuary update.  I'm actually getting close to a page finish on this one!

This thing's so huge, a page finish is barely noticeable at this point.

Off to finish a few things so I can sit and stitch the rest of the day.  Oh, and we had a small disaster here with a hellacious storm last Thursday evening.  This is what I came home to find.

No damage to my fence or house, just a mess to clean up.  I probably would have had a heart attack if I had been home when it happened, lol.  At least I no longer have to wonder if that tree could fall on my house in a hurricane or nor'easter.

Happy Stitching,

Tamara

Nature's Little Helper Progress Update

This last week has been more hectic and I have not stitched as much as I would have liked.  Still, there is visible progress in the two weeks since I posted an update.  Why is it the last bit always seems to take the longest?

Today, I'm not feeling very ambitious.  I'd like to stitch, of course.  I've been trying to talk myself into finally getting my Morticia shawl blocked.  But, it's a hot, lazy summer day, so I really don't know if anything will get done.  I wanted to sleep in a little, but the eyelids popped open at 6AM and I couldn't get back to sleep.  Why can't that happen on workday mornings instead of my day off?  Grrrr.

Well, let me see if I can dredge up some motivation.  Maybe some yarn and cross stitch retail therapy?  Hmmmm....  I must resist, I must...resist...I must.....look.  lol.

Happy Stitching!
